Hair to Stay

 

This is my favorite recipe for keeping my current hair healthy and ensuring that my new growth is getting the TLC that it needs.

  • 3 drops of essential oil of rosemary
  • 3 drops of essential oil of lavender
  • 1/2 ounce of grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, or you can even use olive oil.
    Actually, any carrier oil that can be used to dilute the essential oil.

* I love, love, love peppermint oil too, as it aids in stimulating the follicles and for those of you using very pungent smelling oils and want to tone down the smell, peppermint oil helps. Use sparingly, because a little goes a looooong way, plus some people are extra sensitive the tingle of peppermint oil.

    do you use this daily?

    It can be used daily, or every other day, before going to bed. When my hair is in good shape, I slow down, use it only a few times a week, as to prevent my hair from becoming to heavy with oil.

    How exactly should you use this? Is this something that should be massaged into the scalp?
