Hola amiga,
I first I want to tell you how sorry I am that you’re having this problem and I understand your tears. I don’t know if I can solve your problem, but I’ll try to give you some insight.
The fact that you have been growing out your relaxer may be the reason for the breakage. There is often a drastic difference between the two textures of hair, your natural and relaxed hair. I was going to suggest that you get regular trims, but you have doing that.
That leads me to ask, are you using protein treatments? Proper use will prevent breakage, but improper use will cause severe drying and breakage, as you have described. If you are using protein treatments, you should be using them no more than every other month.
Now, see if you can buy some rosemary oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil and cayenne pepper. Your going to mix a few drops of each oil in an ounce of jojoba oil. Some people are extremely sensitive to cayenne pepper and also the peppermint oil, so you may want to do a patch test on your scalp. Just try a dab of each mixed with jojoba or even cooking oil.
Once you’re sure that your skin can tolerate the mixture, apply to your scalp and massage with a few drops at least once a day. It’s important to stimulate your scalp, so massage often throughout the day, if you can, but be gentle. Another thing to try is putting a damp towel in the microwave to warm it up and wrap your head with it after you’ve oiled and massaged your scalp.
I’m really not sure what may have caused your hair loss. That can be such a tricky thing to determine, but if you do not see an improvement in the next few weeks, I recommend that you try to locate a dermatologist, who specializes in hair/scalp issues. A trichologist may be able to offer specific advice and help get your hair back on track.
