Hola Audrey, I try to limit the amount of heat that I put on my hair, so I usually do not blow more than every other week. Doing rolos is not a problem, particularly if you are air drying or using a medium heat setting, but the heat from the blower can be rather intense.

I know what you mean about working out! That's the main reason why I don't bother blowing my hair frequently. I have friends who do rolos and a blowout religiously. They get their hair done every, single week and their hair looks great, but I find that less is more for my hair.

I recommend that you stick with your rolos on a weekly basis and if you add the blower then keep a very close eye on your results. Look out for more split ends, fly away hairs, or dryer texture.

Hey - I've never tried a blow - out, but I'm interested. I already roller set my hair so there's only one other skill I need to learn. Before I buy a really good blowdryer though, I want to know how often you wash your hair. In some of your replies it sounds like you stretch your blow - out for a couple of weeks. I like to wash my hair once a week due to me working out: will it be too much damage to do a blow - out every week?
