Hello, my daughter had scalp issues like this and I used A & D ointment always cleared it up. I also only washed her hair with shampoo(baby) twice a month, twice a week I washed it with Cetaphil. She also had the same issue with her hair just eating up anything I put in it. I finally worked out a mixture of coconut oil grapeseed oil, aloe vera gel( the fresh pure kind you have to put in the fridge), castor oil, and regular conditioner. I put this in her hair ever day AFTER spraying it with water.
My own scalp issues went away just by using an apple cider vinegar rinse after shampooing. It really stings if it gets in the eyes though so be careful if you try it.
Denise shared this with us, thought it should be easily accessed.
Gracias
Aw wow! Feeling special right now.
Also wanted to tell you, my roller set on my youngest daughter came out great! I was at a bit of a loss as to her hair. Me and my older daughter have similar hair so it was familiar but then this chica comes along with a whole nother type of hair. It’s much thinner than ours, but has little to no porosity. Even if she just saturate it , it looks dry know what I mean. Frizzy and her curls are not ringlety. It “crawls” out of every hair style!
I think roller setting before her braids and pony’s is the answer for us. She also feels reel grown up walking around all day in her rolo’s!
Thank you so much!
I have psoriasis. Do you think the apple cider vinegar will work? What about the smell?
Hola Angie. Let me do a little research, ask some of “medical” friends their opinions and I’ll get back to you. I don’t feel comfortable giving you the thumbs up just yet. However, I have to say that of all things you could be asking about apple cider vinegar has got to be one of the best multi-purpose items to have.
I particularly like Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. I swig a tablespoon every day, helps burn body fat. BUT, will look into your specific request.
