Amiga, I cannot help you there. I don’t do wet wraps, would take forever for my hair to dry.

I love your instructions! But I would like your input on what to do for wet hair being wrapped? I’m trying to cut as much heat as possible. I’m black but I do have thick wavy hair (black, white, and indian bloodline mixes), that I’ve been told by my dominican friends is very similar to theirs. My hair is now, I would say in recovery from being severely damaged from bleaching blonde and a perm. My hair was down my back and broke off very short. I think what I see you doing would be really great for my hair. And any input you could give me on how to treat and care for my own hair I would greatly appreciate it. Gracias Mamita!

I am transitioning to natural and I have been 2 strand twisting my hair. I have been hearing about the DBO and I want to try it. I also need my ends trimmed b/c I have been transitioning since December and I have not had my ends trimmed. Do you think this will be good for me. My hair tangles very easily. I haven’t wore it straight since Nov. Do you think it will be a problem?

I just happen to stumble upon ur site. I wanna say thank u for the great info. I cut off my shoulder length hair one year ago because of heat damage from the blower and flat iron. This doobie style is so much healthier for my relaxed hair. Gracias!

If I were you, I’d put her hair up in a dubi every night, regardless to whether or not you do pony tails the next day. The dubi will keep her hair from becoming tangled and will keep her hair from frizzing up. Also, since she’s so young, I would limit the amount of heat used on it. Trust me, she’s gonna become well acquainted with a blower when she’s old enough

Thanks for the picture tutorial! My daughter’s hair is long and naturally curly, but looks very much like yours after being blow dried at the salon. I would like suggestions on how to maintain the straight hair for a week (she is 6 years old) because she likes it as loose as possible. I’m thinking of two low ponytails, but how should I secure it at night to make sure her ponytails look good in the morning?

Yes, it is what I do before I go to sleep. I guess that there is a different type of dubi, huh?
That’s they way a Dominican dubi is done

I always use the same products, regardless to whether my hair is relaxed or natural: CHI Silk Infusion mixed with Paul Mitchell Skinny or a different anti-frizz serum.
