What’s Your New Hair’s Resolution?
Chicas, we are at the time of the year where we wind down. We reflect, regroup and reorg.
We start contemplating all of the things that we want to do next year, such as: lose weight, read more books, lose weight, finish our projects and lose weight. We tend to forget about hair goals.
I spend a lot of time in the gym and find that I have to be creative when it comes to styling my hair. Yes, I’d like my hair to have that fresh, blown out look every day, but it’s not feasible.
For instance, I found a simple way to create Princess Leah type buns on each side of my head and when I let my hair down, I have that razored look. It’s a nice alternative to tight curls.
So, my new hair’s resolution is to find gym-friendly ways to wear my hair. I want to be able to workout and go to work without looking like a chia pet. I also want to be able to wear my hair straight without sacrificing good health. We’ll see how this works after I have my surgery.
