Smooth ‘N Shine Hair Products

Christmas came and went, but I had a surprise package waiting for me today.

Mi familia me quiere muchisimo. My mother knows that I’m always on the hunt for new products. Although, she’s busy with her own list of things to do, she always thinks of me when she sees a product that I might be interested in.

smooth_n_shineSo, I opened the package figuring I had a new pair of gym gloves (I wasn’t very subtle with my hints lol) or a pair of Nike workout pants; I didn’t expect anything that wasn’t on Santa’s list. I did get my Nike pants, a gift-certificate to pick out my own gloves and then I was shocked by the hair products in the box.

My mother packed a jar of Smooth ‘N Shine Therapy – Silk Fusion Sixty-Second Critical Repair. Guess what one of the first ingredients is? You guessed it! Silk amino acids AND pearl extracts. Now, I confess, never heard of pearl extracts, but I’m all over the silk amino acids.

Out of curious, I checked to see if there were anyone else had anything to say about this product. I was surprised that the responses were mediocre, but I’m still going to try it. One thing that I noticed is that it says it’s safe enough to use every week. That means it’s not safe for every day use and for those of us who do our rolos and blowout every other week, we may only want to use it once monthly.

I also got a bottle of Hair So Shine Instant Repair Hair Polisher 8oz, which also contains silk amino acids. The nice thing about both is that both products cost about $5. That’s a heck of a deal for those on a restricted budget, providing they live up to the standards of my beloved CHI.

If you have used either product, please let me know what you think. Sharing is caring :)

I have used this product and it’s really good. My hair was soft, healthy and this product has a nice smell too. It has silk and pearl extracts that gave my hair a nice healthy shine. I love it.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I am going to give it a try this weekend. I’m sure that I’ll be pleased :)

I’ll have to try the silk aminoacids thing :)
How are you? miss your posts, I know I don’t always comment but I check your blog every week :)
Have you tried Alfaparf Rigen yet? I would give ANYTHING to be in the U.S and be able to buy it. They don’t sell it here in Canada.

Dany! Como estas? Hace tanto tiempo :)
I know I need to get back to posting more, just been crazy between work and trying to work out at the gym.
Don’t feel you always have to comment. Sometimes, you just want to be a spectator, me entiendes?

I have not tried Alfaparf yet. I am trying so hard to get through some of my current products. I have way too much
stuff in my closet now and don’t forget, I am still in search of a good shampoo :P

Can you order Alfaparf online? I usually get my products shipped to me, because although, I’m in the US, finding
products outside of NYC is often difficult.

Glad to see you are ok! :)
I wish I were in NY, from what I understand that`s where you can find Alfaparf. I buy mine on Ebay (the semi di lino oil vials and the Cristalli Liquidi serum).Although I`m almost done with Kerastase oleo-relax serum and I`m thinking about rebuying as I love it too.
Can I ask you a recommendation for a blow dryer that’s not too expensive but that I can use to try your instructions for a blow out?

The only one that I KNOW for sure works is the one that I have been using, the Turbo 1500, made by Pibbs.
I’m not sure how much they run now, but I have heard that the prices have been coming down.
