Putting Rollers in On The Side – Video

Here is another video showing how you can put rolos on the side of your head.

I used to fight to roll them under, but realized it didn’t matter which direction I rolled them, as long as the ends were smooth. So, I started rolling them upward and have not had a problem since.

After seeing the most recent video, now I see why your tips work so well for me; we have similar hair textures. And I got all excited when you said you were a sci nerd. Were you a bio or chem major? Anyway, the videos are great…keep ‘em coming!

I like chem, but LOVE bio :D
Are you a science lover too?

How’s your hair doing? I’ve been slacking, in the worse way! I need to step up my moisturizing game quite a bit. I hope you’re not as dry as I’ve been lately. Plus, tried the CHI shampoo and it’s not a keeper for me :( My hair was even drier, will be going back to creme of nature.

Glad it helps. Let me know how it turns out and be sure to let the stylist know up front that you want a TRIM ;)

    Hola, La Negra

Girl, I have scoured the earth to find the last bottle of cream of nature the original formula, known to woman. While i am happy that i found such a great find, i’m a little worried because i hate the organic formula in the orange bottle. Sabes que i’m going to call the cream of nature company and tell them to bring back the old formula. I’m woried what am i going to do when this bottle is done, what otras shampoos do you suggest to use for detangling, slip, smells good, works for kinky, curling coily or relaxed hair and(inexpensive?) all that : ). I heard that karacare is good, but i’ve never used that y cuesto mucho, and it cost too much.

Lindamorena, tengo decirte que no se que voy hacer sin mi champoo favorito.
I have looked, prodded and pleaded with every spot I know. Which is why, if you read my post when I returned from NYC, I left with a gallon (YES, a 128 fluid ounce jug) of Creme of Nature original formula.

The new version is HORRID!! I wouldn’t shampoo my neighbors’ mule with that stuff. So, I’m in the process of experimenting. We may have to create our own version of the original stuff, but I’m not quite satisfied with my results yet. Ironic, you should mention this now, as I was working on this just over the weekend. I haven’t used Keracare’s shampoo, but LOOOOOOVE their humecto. I make sure to pick up a tub of it at least once a year (lasts me about one year).

The last experiment yielded moderate results. I tried CHI shampoo with a spot of conditioner, but wasn’t thrilled. CHI shampoo alone is too harsh for my hair and left it very difficult to comb. However, I added a bit of conditioner and that concoction left my hair feeling less-than-clean.

Girl, no preocupes! I’m working on this, cause when I run out of my Creme of Nature, it ain’t gonna be pretty. Me entiendes? LOL
