Hi- I am huge fan of Dominican hairstylist! However, I was lucky with 2 out of the 3 I have used. So choose your hairstylist wisely.

Have you used any of the dominican hair relaxers- ie the Nacidit, Salerm (Spanish) or Silicon Mix relaxer? I currently use phytospecific which is great but crazy expensive.

It’s not only for dominicans, or Caribbeans, it’s for anyone with curly, kinky, coarse, or dry hair. It gives you moisture and lots of shine. For me, it also helps to detangle.

Hi.. thanks for the blog! I have been going to Dom now for about 5 years, but now have a baby and the family needs have changed a bit. I am not able to go as often as I used to before baby which was once a week so now I have to figure this out on my own or go for 3 weeks without wash. (I cant do that)
I read your blow out how to, but I cant get that far because I cant seen to get the rolling process right. Everytime I try to roll my hair when its wet, turns out to be a disaster. Will you talk a little about the rolling process and the products you use for setting your hair. Also, would you recommend the Goya coco for african american hair?
