I just moved to NC from NYC and I am sooooo glad to know that there are some Dominican Salons here in NC….I have been wearing braids since August and can not wait to take them out.

I KNOW the feeling. I wish I could find someone close to me. I wouldn’t go frequently, but to be able to have someone pamper me for a minute would sure be nice :)

Let me know how you like the salon.

I love this hair shop. My hair is natural and I am mainly a black woman. I have a medium texture kinky hair. It is not very thick or coarse but it will dry out and break off.
I love coming in to get my blowouts every few months. I never had my hair feel so soft and healthy during my adulthood. It is like a magic trick. I love how it bounces afterwards. It is not flat and lifeless. I have always struggled with that very problem before.
I give them a perfect ten. I have never had any downfalls. The best thing about it is that I am very very tenderheaded but theses ladies no something special because every step of the way is a treat and pain free. Go here for you hair care needs. I am very picky and had sworn off to salons for about 4 years that is until I met these ladies.

Hello! I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed my experience at Miguelina’s. It has been over a week, I have been sweating and excercising and my hair still looks good! Great salon and friendly people!!!!

    Thanks for the feedback.
I’m not gonna lie. I’m hating on you right now. I cannot even pass by the gym without frizzing up, yet you go, exercise and your hair still looks good?! That’s just wrong, LOL :)

I love Miguelina…she is so sweet and really cares about healthy hair. I have been going to her for about a year and I can see a serious difference in how my hair looks and feels…even when I dont go to the salon. The quality products and affordable prices are amazing. I love SaLerm and Alter Ego products. I havent had a relaxer in months and my hair still looks great.

I have been going to this salon since last summer and I have now had 2 treatments of the Keratin process and let me tell you, I love it! Well worth the money. I have really really curly hair and was never able to wear my hair straight without a perm because a hot breath would curl it back up and now I can sweat or get it wet and it stays straight. Im hooked for life. (I am African American by the way).

Lisa, thanks for your feedback in regards to the Keratin process. I just took out my braids as I had them in because I try to exercise 6 days a week. I just had my first visit to the salon. Everyone feedback about the salon is so so true. They are all very nice and helpful. I had a relaxer put in my hair as it didn’t too great after wearing those braids for 3 months. I don’t like braids very much but I needed to do something since I am working out so often and I sweat really bad, even when I take a walk in the mornings. It is very hard to do that and keep my hair from looking so bad after sweating to be prepared for work, etc. I went to the salon and I saw the information about the Keratin process and I was thinking about it because she one of the ladies told me it would keep my hair straight. You stated that it is worth the money . II have some, if you could help me. They are: When a person sweats with the process in their hair, does the texture change at all? How long does 1 process last or does it depends on the texture of a person’s hair, especially while I am exercising like I am? If have anymore information that would helpful, please let me know. I do have course hair and I do not like my hair to look dry or messy. Thanks in advance for your feedback in regards to Keratin process.

Ariel, I’m waiting to hear back from Lisa too. I’ve heard of the keratin process, but the ingredients scare the platano out of me!!
